Here on our Nature Trail, we investigate our natural world and see how what we do affects our environment. As you hike along our trail, you can learn about lots of ways to be a good neighbor and citizen.

Just about everything we do affects the earth. Ask yourself: Have you hugged your earth today?

Being a good neighbor means taking care of the neighborhood - even if that means the whole world! Find out how you can do exactly that by reducing, reusing and recycling.

Kansas City Power & Light works hard to protect our natural world and the creatures we share it with. See for yourself how KCP&L preserves the environment.

Once you've learned about KCP&L's efforts to protect our environment, you'll see that we also care about the birds, wildlife and fish that share our world. You can learn more about some species that are very important to KCP&L by printing and creating your own bookmarks.
