Scholarship Opportunities

Kansas City Power & Light believes in education and makes a financial commitment in the form of scholarships. Both of the following programs are sponsored directly by each school. University of Missouri-Kansas City
Kansas City Power & Light supports the University of Missouri-Kansas City's Engineering Program by providing six undergraduate engineering scholarships each year. Graduation Scene Established in 1992, the scholarships are awarded to outstanding freshmen and cover all academic costs. It is renewable for up to three years, provided students continue to meet scholarship criteria. The scholarships are available to students from anywhere in the country.

Metropolitan Community Colleges
Another scholarship program exists for students at the Metropolitan Community Colleges of Kansas City, Missouri. These scholarships are open to students enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at the Business & Technology College.
