KCPL Kids - Billboard Contest

Enter our Annual Safety Billboard Contest

Each Spring, KCP&L and Lamar Advertising Artists with drawing sponsor the Annual Billboard Contest. Our hope is that you will learn more about electrical safety as you express your creative ideas.

Who Can Enter?
The contest is open to any student, grades 1-6, who attends school within KCP&L's service territory, including home-schooled children. (Children whose parents are employed by KCP&L or Lamar Advertising will not be eligible.)

Prizes:
One student will win a $50 first prize, and three students will win $25 honorable mention awards in each of three categories: grades 1-2, grades 3-4 and grades 5-6.

A "grand prize winner" will be chosen from the total of all entries received. The winner will receive $100 and their winning poster will be featured on a local Lamar Advertising billboard.
